Exergi Predictive selected for BEST START in partnership with University of St. Thomas
We’re thrilled to announce that Exergi Predictive has been selected for the BEST START program — accelerating energy battlefield technologies in partnership with the University of St. Thomas (UTC). Originally developed in 2022 to control robotic combat vehicles, Exergi’s EPICC software has evolved into a versatile tool for predicting and managing energy demands in real-time. Under the BEST START program, Exergi is adapting this technology for tactical microgrids, creating EPICC Microgrid.

Our AI-driven Energy Management platform is reshaping how defense and industry tackle energy dominance:
⚡ Energy Prediction for Intelligent Command and Control (EPICC)
⚡ Dynamic microgrid management
⚡ Reduced sustainment risk
⚡ Mission-ready resilience
Operational Energy dominance isn’t just the future — it’s happening now. Thank you to BEST START for helping us scale innovation that matters. Exergi will demonstrate its tactical microgrid tool at the St. Thomas Center for Microgrid Research (CMR), a facility with unique expertise and resources particularly advantageous to the project. Additionally, Exergi Predictive will partner with the UST to develop a workforce development pipeline aimed at preparing students for careers in energy sciences.
